Chocolate Cake Brownies
2/3 c. butter
¾ c. cocoa
¼ c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 °. Melt butter and whisk in the cocoa and oil. Stir on low heat until well blended. Stir in sugar and add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the warm cocoa mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
