Mini Cupcakes - Butter Cream Frosting

What would a cupcake be without the frosting? Doesn’t it put a smile on your face when you see the beautiful swirls of frosting on a cupcake?!  When I always thought of butter cream frosting, I thought it would be heavy and rich. Actually, after it is whipped until fluffy, it is very light and sweet!

Butter Cream Frosting

 

1 c. butter

1 c. granulated sugar

½ c. warm milk

¼ tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together; add warm milk and vanilla. Beat for 5 minutes. Can be chilled before using.
